Who I am

I want to learn more about myself. I am a generator, phoenix psychic, or one of the other names given to those like me. I want to know as much as I can so I'm asking for help from anyone who might know anything about this kind of thing.

This is probably not the best place to find information on that topic, except for the fact I'm here. <lol>
The Psion Guild has the most information of any online resource at this time, much of it contributed by Anka or myself through my own studies.

Though I'm a bit surprised you haven't been there--how did you determine you were a phoenix? My mentor was the first person I'm aware of to put information out on the net about it. It's helped a lot of people, but also created the need for a lot of explanations--people didn't always understand it. (1 out of 10 self-proclaimed phoenixes actually is one, lol).

My mentor is the one who told me what I am. It's a long story, but in short I learned what little I know from him. He had only run into one other true phoenix and many who claimed to be. He said something similar but gave the odds to be 1 in 25 by his experience. I was introduced to him through a trusted friend who is like myself.

That's certainly plausible (and, the Guild has been around for almost 10 years now, too, so might still be where it came from in this case). Someone told my mentor about it when he was 10, and gave him the term, so we aren't the origin of the term 'phoenix psychic'--but I personally am the origin of the term "Generator" being applied to them.

Not to mention I've had 4 or 5 psy-vamps draining me at the same time with little to no adverse effects.
